Shawn, is my older brother by about a year and a pillar of strength and warmth for our family. He met his wife in their early 20s, and they've been inseparable ever since. Together, they've built a life full of love and resilience, facing challenges with grace.

They are proud parents to three sons. Their eldest, Nick, recently turned 21 and has a deep passion for music, trading cards and Japanese culture. Chris, their middle child, is on the autism spectrum and brings a gentle joy to everyone around him. He lives at home and is cherished for his kind presence. Their youngest, Jayden, also on the spectrum, experiences more profound challenges and has special care needs due to his complex health history, including epilepsy.

Despite the many hurdles they've faced, Shawn and his family have grown stronger together. Shawn himself is a wonderful big brother and an exceptional cook—his smoked salmon is a my favorite dish in the world. This close-knit family exemplifies love and perseverance, drawing strength from each other through life's ups and downs
